Location
From the Black Sea (Constanta) to the Danube river (Harsova), lies a village unknown to the modern world, Crucea. The historical name (Satischioi) tell us something about its turkish past.
The area (238 Km2) includes five other small villages: Baltagesti, Crisan, Galbiori, Siriu and Stupina and the total population (Source: wikipedia) reach 3.258 persons.
Crucea (meaning “Cross” in english) is ideally located 30 Km far from the National Airport (Ryanair and Turkish Airlines weekly flights), logistically closed to the less expensive transportation ways such as the Black Sea (Constanta Harbour) and the river (Danube).
The village can also be used as starting point for undiscovered natural spots in the area: the Natural Reserve of Dealul Alah Bahir, the local Ortodox Church (which is a splendid example of a Romanian architectural Christian site), as well as the nearby mystical rocks of Chelei Dobrogei, the well known Capidava Roman Fortress and the Regional Capital Constanta.
