Throughout Bio Farm Crucea’s history, we have grown through strategically planned expansion and development. We have built a base of solid competitive advantages to become a leading player in the local market of organic agricultural commodities. With our production capacity, we are ready to move into our next stage of business development and expansion. Our products are high quality and tailored to specific market niches and needs. We plan to use current market knowledge, marketing skills and an internal distribution network combined with a capital injection to continue to expand our market share. We believe that this is an achievable goal in the mid-long term.
From the Black Sea (Constanta) to the Danube river (Harsova), lies a village unknown to the modern world, Crucea. The historical name (Satischioi) tell us something about its turkish past although locals love to say their roots go back to the famous Dacian warriors that fought Trajan and the Roman Empire in 101 AD.
The area (238 Km2) includes five other small villages: Baltagesti, Crisan, Galbiori, Siriu and Stupina and the total population (2004 survey) reach 3.283 persons.
Crucea (meaning cross) is ideally located 30 Km far from the National Airport (Ryanair and Carpatair daily flights), logistically closed to the less expensive transportation ways such as the Black Sea (Constanta Harbour) and the river (Danube).
The village can also be used as starting point for undiscovered natural spots in the area: the Ortodox Wooden Church is a splendid example of a Romanian architectural Christian site as well as the nearby Capidava Roman Fortress and the Regional Capital Constanta.
